Halloween

I am a bit late writing this, but it feels like I have less and less time these days to keep this blog updated! Halloween this year was awesome. It seems like it gets better and better each year. The boys (especially the older two) were so excited and could hardly wait for class parties and trick-or-treating. They loved decorating the house for the holiday and we had fun watching "Hocus Pocus" and other Halloween movies.

Jackson has been saying for months that he wanted to be Baymax from "Big Hero 6." When he found out they sell an inflatable costume online, there was no going back. I was skeptical of how well the costume would work (it has a built-in fan that inflates the costume) but it was so awesome. The first time he tried it on, we all couldn't stop laughing!

He really had a lot of fun wearing it around and got a lot of attention wherever he went!

Bode was funny this year about his costume. For a long time he had decided he wanted to be a horse. He had found a pretty funny costume at a garage sale this summer with his dad and his mind was set. About a week before Halloween (and after I had fixed the zipper on the horse costume) he changed his mind and decided he wanted to be an Army guy. Lucky for us, we already had an Army costume Jackson bought a few years ago. I thought Bode made a very handsome little Army dude :)

Davis was our little Bam-Bam. I made the costume for Jackson years ago, and all three of our boys have worn it for their second Halloween. Each one of them have worn it so well and it made my heart happy to carry on the tradition.

Finally, my friend Keisha was nice enough to loan Sean and I some costumes!

Taking a break to eat some candy :)

I wonder what sort of hooligans we'll have next year! ;)
