We took a family trip to California mid October and had such an awesome time! We spent our first day at the beach in Balboa. It was so nice being out of the car and enjoying the sunshine! It was just the change of scenery we all needed. The kids had a blast playing in the waves, building a sand castle, looking for shells, throwing the football, etc. We lucked out with great weather.
I have a picture of Jackson as a toddler sitting in almost this exact same spot!
Our friends met up with us a little later, and we had so much fun hanging out at the beach! Our kids still talk about this being one of their favorite parts of the trip.
Molly and Hayes were just too cute playing together!
