With Jackson's birthday being January 1, we thought this year we would give him the option of deferring his birthday party til later in the year when it is warmer. I'll be honest, by the time his birthday rolls around, I am still pretty burned out from Christmas and we sort of bribed him by telling him if he held off on his party, we would let him take a couple of friends to Lagoon in the summer. He was excited about the idea, so it was a win-win. A few weeks before school stated, he took a couple of his good friends with Sean as chaperone and they had such a great time. They rode the big rides (Jackson is a huge fan of roller coasters), and they spent a couple of hours at Laguna Beach.
I wish we could have taken all of his friends. He is really lucky to live somewhere with so many good friends surrounding him!
