Thanksgiving 2020

After much debate on what to do for Thanksgiving in the midst of a drawn out pandemic, we decided to go to Idaho Falls in the end. We worried for our family, particularly for Sean's mom and my dad since they had not had Covid yet. Our family and my sister's family stayed at a hotel to try and keep less people staying under one roof. We decided against visiting Sean's parents because we felt his mom was especially at risk with her kidney transplant. Big bummer, but we are hoping this will be the only time we'll have to worry about something like this.

We had a great holiday and the food was delicious, as always!

Staying in the hotel was great in that it gave the kids access to a pool and they all swam a ton!

I took advantage of staying on the green belt and took a chilly run around the river one morning. I took this photo in this particular spot because there is a guy from Idaho Falls who posted a video of him skateboarding in this spot that went crazy viral. You can see the fertilizer plant Sean worked at in the background!

Before we all headed for home, my dad really wanted a family picture since everyone was all together. I'm glad things worked out and we could be together, and very glad everyone stayed healthy!
