Easter sort of snuck up on us this year with it being so early! We dyed eggs a few days before, and though they aren't going to win any awards, the boys always love doing it. This year they were especially intrigued by the glitter eggs and Bode was very proud of his blue egg covered in green glitter because it looked like the earth.
Most of our eggs usually end up cracked from all of the rough handling, but oh well!
On Saturday we hit up our favorite egg hunt in Pleasant Grove. We've gone for years now, and it's always a lot of fun. Davis's age group had soooo many eggs. It took them a good 10 minutes to pick them all up! At one point I just told him he had enough because his basket was full!
We also went to our neighborhood egg hunt, which was a lot of fun. There was face painting, cotton candy, a bouncy house, etc. Bode decided he wanted a sweet 'stache painted on his face.
Davis was hilarious because he ignored most of the eggs around him, and instead chose to pick up pretty much every piece of taffy he could see on the ground. He would bypass Reese's and Kit-Kats for taffy and I just had to laugh.
And because we're crazy and our boys love egg hunts so much, we ended up going to a third egg hunt with some friends that afternoon. This one was fun because the boys had to actually run for the eggs.
Easter morning
All dressed up for the most important part of Easter- to go worship and remember our Savior and celebrate His resurrection. I love these handsome boys!
