Fall Break 2020: Idaho Falls and Jackson Hole

We drove up to Idaho Falls during our fall break for a few days to help Sean's parents move into their new home. We spent the first couple of days helping with the move and we are excited for them to be in their new place. The kids, my mom, and I took a walk one morning and walked by the zoo and saw that it was open, so we decided to make a visit. We love the Idaho Falls zoo! It isn't so huge you have to make an entire day out of it, and they have a lot of really cool animals. The kids loved the sloth bears, river otter, and monkeys.

After a couple days of moving, we decided to take a break and head to Jackson Hole for the day. We stopped for square ice cream in Swan Valley. It had been a long time since we'd been so the kids didn't remember it and thought it was cool!

We stopped for lunch in town and when in Jackson, you must take a picture under the antlers!

We drove into Grand Teton National Park and decided to do one of our favorite hikes-- Leigh Lake. I was excited to show Molly where her middle name comes from. Such a beautiful place! It was a mostly overcast day, but it was still gorgeous.

I always thought it was cool I was named after Jenny Lake, so hopefully Molly thinks it's cool her middle name comes from the lake right next to mine. :)

I was glad my parents could come along.

After the hike, we had to make a stop at the candy store before heading back to Idaho Falls. It was a great little getaway and fun to be in Jackson again!
