Monster towel

I received a bunch of awesome new sewing stuff for Christmas and I got to test some of it out making this cute new hooded towel for Jackson for his b-day! He was outgrowing my favorite pig towel that my sister-in-law gave to him, but it was just too soon to move on to boring old plain towels. I love it because you use an adult sized towel for the bottom and a washcloth for the hood-- in other words, there is room to grow.

I think he likes it :)

I was going to try to write out the instructions and post them, but I didn't know if I would be able to describe the steps very well. Heck, I don't even know if I can remember what to do. If you're interested in making one, come on over and I'll make another one too!

Oh my gosh! I love that little monster towel. Jackson looks so darn cute in it too!! I might have to take you up on your offer and come over with sewing supplies when Beckett is older!

That is one of the cutest things I have EVER seen! I'm in love (with the towel and Jackson :) I need to live closer so you can help me actually use my sewing machine. But, it is taking a 2 year break while I learn some needle poking, medication giving, etc skills. When I'm pregnant and have time to sew, I'm coming to you!

SUPER CUTE! Brent got 2 of those when he was born, and he is still using the one that has his name on it! I LOVE IT! I think by the time Brent is 6 or 7 he will be too tall. So, now you know how long Jackson will be able to use his. Those are awesome show gifts too!
