Halloween 2019

Here Christmas is just around the corner and I am finally getting around to posting about Halloween! Here are some our our fall/Halloween highlights:

Molly playing in the leaves in our backyard. We are happy to finally have some trees big enough to rake into a pile!

Our family made our traditional caramel apples and they turned out so well this year! We used apples from an orchard in Highland and I think that is what made the difference-- no wax on the apples so the caramel stuck better. Molly looked cute in her new Halloween apron her nana sewed for her.

We carved our pumpkins we got in Idaho Falls during fall break. Each of the kids picked out their design and they turned out really cute!

My Halloween bunco costume. This year I went as "Maria" from the game "Guess Who?"

The kids' costumes were so fun this year!

Jackson as Bob Ross

Bode as the Monopoly Man

Davis as Mario from Mario Kart

Molly as Rapunzel
(Lots of pictures of her because she was happy getting her picture taken and she was just too cute in that dress and wig!)

I thought Molly's wig turned out so cute! We bought a wig online and then I braided it and hot glued flowers in it.

Lastly, Charlie the lion!

More pics from Halloween:

Molly and Hayes at the High School's "haunted hallways"

Jackson and friends ready to hit the doors

Stop at the "Nacho Palace" (our neighbor's house where they pass out nachos on Halloween)

Trick or treating with the little kids!

These two are a crack up. This was not scripted.

Villainous friends!

Perfect Halloween sunset!

Insane amounts of candy were collected. The older boys came home with several full-sized candy bars and took trick-or-treating VERY seriously this year. We weighed Bode's candy because he was competing with his friends and he had more than 8 lbs of candy!

Sean wore this afro wig while he was passing out candy and I missed getting a picture. Molly had fun trying it on when she got home!

Another fun (and cold!) Halloween!
