New Years Eve cabin trip

We were lucky enough to be invited to spend New Year's Eve weekend with some friends at their new cabin. It was such a fun weekend! Lots of games (Rook, Sequence, Scum), lots of yummy food, tons of great company.

Gorgeous views and beautiful blue skies

One of the highlights of the weekend was definitely sledding. They had a really long road near the cabin that worked out perfectly for it. It twisted and turned and was pretty steep. We had people on snowmobiles and four wheelers who picked up the sledders at the bottom and drove you back to the top. SO fun! I was sore for like 3 days after sledding.

Molly and Hayes just hanging out and looking cute in the snow

Jackson thought it was pretty cool he got to be up late at a cabin with some of his friends to ring in his birthday and the New Year.

Our method of transportation to and from the cabin from the parking lot at the bottom of the mountain.

Such a fun weekend after a busy Christmas season. It was so nice to unplug and relax (well, as much as being a mom will permit anyway!)
